I've been working through this thread, and by this post find out that most of the preposterousness seems to be in the laps of those who hold one flavor of human presumptuous tradition to be superior in authority to the progressive revelation of inspired writings from God's appointed prophets and apostles.
Someone is neglecting the progressive aspect on this thread, speaking as if he/she has access to a source of authority that trumps everyone else's source of inspired Truths.
