John 3:7
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
It won't matter how much money you have or don't have in the bank for retirement. It won't matter how big or small your house is or how many cars you have in the garage. It won't matter if you were a good person who treated others kindly or if you went to Church every Sunday. Billions of well-meaning people will pop their head in hell the day they die, simply for not believing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Hebrews 4:2
For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
There are many people who made a huge mess of their life and have reformed, but reformation is not salvation. There have been alcoholics who have gone to support groups and have turned over a new leaf, but that new leaf soon gets as rotten as the old leaf, and no amount of willpower will wash away sin. Many drug addicts have been able to change their habits with help from rehab centers, and Praise the Lord that's a good thing, unfortunately, rehab centers cannot change the heart. Reformation will never save you, but Biblical salvation will transform you.
Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
I don't believe in a works salvation, I just believe in a salvation that works. If you're a saved person and there's no change whatsoever in your life than you don't have the salvation of God's preserved word because God's salvation not only promises radical change, but the power you need to live a transformed life.
(1 John 5:4) For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. 14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings: 15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; 16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
“I just believe in a salvation that works. If you’re a saved person and there’s no change whatsoever in your life than you don’t have the salvation of God’s preserved word...”

How little sin do you need in your sin to have assurance?
How much sin can you have in your life before you doubt your assurance?
Paul said it best I think,”for what I would, that do I not” the word “would” is a will word. Is one’s will to live for the Lord, but at times fail or is one’s will to live for the worlds pleasure, yet claim to be a follower of Christ?
If I’m ever tempted to doubt my salvation,
I look to the good deeds of the cross of Christ,
when he paid for my sin.
I do not look to my own good works
for the assurance of my salvation.
1 John 1:9
King James Version (KJV)
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If you get a chance to listen to that YouTube,
I think it might bless you.
Lordship salvation is a holdover
from romanism.
God had to drive His Sword deep
into my stubbornness to teach my assurance in Him.
On Bible Gateway, you can read the KJV that has the strongs concordance attached to it, so you can just highlight a word, and it’s meaning in the Hebrew or Greek appears.
With real Biblical salvation your will changes from desires of serving self to desires of serving Christ. If you don't really believe Christ died for you on the cross, but give lip service that you do, than you're not saved and no amount of good works will save you.
What English speaking people need to do is invest in a good English word dictionary and start looking up the meaning of the KJB English words. God’s word has already been perfectly translated from the Hebrew and Greek into English, a much better use of an English speakers time is to learn better English.
That makes absolutely no sense. Everybody knows that some of the English words in the Bible are wrongly translated. I love the KJV, but I’m not foolish enough to insist it’s a perfect transition.
Perhaps you're not.
