If I’m ever tempted to doubt my salvation,
I look to the good deeds of the cross of Christ,
when he paid for my sin.
I do not look to my own good works
for the assurance of my salvation.

1 John 1:9

King James Version (KJV)

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If you get a chance to listen to that YouTube,
I think it might bless you.

Lordship salvation is a holdover
from romanism.
God had to drive His Sword deep
into my stubbornness to teach my assurance in Him.

If you believe in the substitutionary, sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on the cross for your sins, then you.shall be saved. Christ comes in at that moment and His Holy Ghost baptism occurs, and your heart gets a radical change.

With real Biblical salvation your will changes from desires of serving self to desires of serving Christ. If you don't really believe Christ died for you on the cross, but give lip service that you do, than you're not saved and no amount of good works will save you.
