A massive brawl broke out during a meeting at a Georgia baptist church during a vote on whether its controversial pastor should be fired.
Punches were thrown, church goers were shoved to the ground, and chairs were launched across the room after a fight erupted at Greater Bellevue Baptist Church in Macon on Monday.
Local county deputies were forced to call for back up after the two cops were overwhelmed by the brawl.

I'd be mighty wary at the next one!
WHOA! Holy Rollers are great people, and in the Bible “blasphemy against Holy Spirit is only unforgivable sin”! I have been thru two church splits, as a Holy Roller, ( laughable & fond term among members); and no type of violence or ugly things happened!
Sangria?
LOL. Peace be with you, borthers and sisters. LOL.

Real Christians? NOT!!!
No Pentecostal church I ever visited ever went down like this.
I’ve seen congregations get worked up and divided when a pastor got fired, once for the pastor demanding total authority (and going down theological rabbit trails), and once for the pastor messing around, but nothing nearly like this.
You got it, girl!
;)
No Pentecostal church I ever visited ever went down like this. I'm not sure there is a lot of difference between a brawl and people crowding up to get slain in the spirit.
Not quite - it's not a term used by Baptists or most Protestant denominations, but nor is it totally limited to Catholics. Some Orthodox groups use the term, so do Anglicans (although they tend to use other terms more often, Mass is still considered correct), and I believe some branches of Lutherans do as well. There are other smaller groups that have retained the term as well.
Lol!
