Who is Trump calling a 'nasty guy'?
WND ^ | 5/1/2017 | Jim Fletcher

In an election year that will rank as perhaps the oddest in history, Donald Trump last fall tweeted his displeasure with an attack from … an evangelical leader.

What weird corner of the universe are we living in?

When Trump said that Southern Baptist leader Russell Moore is a “nasty guy,” he was referencing a person that only months before had never crossed his path. New York City is far from Nashville, geographically and in every other way. Moore, the president of the SBC’s “Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission,” is unlike any other SBC leader before him.

A former staffer for a Democrat congressman from Mississippi, Moore is far to the left of his predecessors, including his immediate predecessor, Richard Land. For generations, the SBC was front-loaded with Jerry Falwell types, but no more. Or rather, no Moore.

Russell Moore is a charlatan, liberal infiltrator, & liar, and he's taking the SBC ship down because they won't make him walk the plank. Even worse, they may even agree with him!

Moore is why our church voted against affiliating with the SBC.

The SBC is hipocritical. I was a Baptist my whole life. No More. They’re about as far left as they can get. We must remember, the “leader” was elected.

By the way, I went to Baylor. Will never go to another football game. The frauds known as the Board of Regents knew all about the rapes. But they wanted a national championship. And That was more important than any young girl’s life.

This is interesting. I don’t know who the author Fletcher is but I plan to investigate Fletcher and Moore.

I have not been a member of SBC until the last few years. Our young pastor is very good, devoted and confident of his opinion. I do love him even though I don’t always agree on matters that are not essential. He respects Russell Moore by the comments, commentaries and support I see on Facebook and by our brief discussions during the election. He would never concede that not voting for Trump would be in essence a vote for Hillary or help her win. It was a philosophical stand which could go round and round, (like the topic of election in my opinion). That “principled” stand was one I saw from many evangelicals especially younger ones or those who want the youth approval. I seem to recall the argument from something I read from Moore but I could be wrong.

Now I read that he was a Democrat and worked for one. Big red flag for me. I wonder if he ever repented for supporting a party of abortion. Not my business but it does matter to his current position.

I do hope he is not a wolf in sheep’s clothing because he is influential in millennial SBC Reformed groups. I get the feeling he is like a Pied Piper. However I doubt they would hold him in high esteem were he not claiming to be Reformed. Seriously.

For me, I can’t remember what exactly but after Land was replaced I do remember being disappointed and surprised at a position Moore promoted. Though not a Baptist I looked to their leadership for standing up for Biblical values. As I get older I know that men will always fail us. The best I can do is watch and wait and learn, speaking up when necessary.

Also, this group of Baptists want to help immigrants and say they want to convert them. Yes we should tell them the good news. But there was articles about the amount of money Baptist and Catholic groups get from the government for helping. Tucker Carlson had a good discussion with the head of World Vision I think challenging him to help without government money if it was such a worthy cause.

Jim Fletcher is an Evangelical who helps run Rapture Ready. He loves Israel and I believe he hosts a weekly radio show as well.

Russell Moore is a MSM lackey who went on record during the election campaign to malign Trump and his Christian supporters. He plays the race card over and over on American Christians - google can answer that question if you don’t believe me.

Moore publicly stands against abortion, but him never once condemning Obama and actually inviting Hillary Clinton to a candidate forum - means that he is liberal on that position as well. He just hasn’t made it official yet.
