Most of them are asking her to do things for the petitioner herself.No, the "most" prayed Marian prayer is the Hail Mary, which specifically asks her to pray "for" us. And asking her to "do things" *is* asking her to pray for things for us. She can't do anything for us without praying for us in Catholic theology.
