Most catholics could care less. They’ll continue to vote D on election day.

Yep they have a God problem, and many others as well.

If you don’t sign on to the liberal agenda in areas such as homosexuality, amnesty for illegal aliens, transsexual people in public restrooms, global warming__. You are shunned from today’s Democrat party, and really have no place in such a party.

I think its a generational thing. I have a 79 year old uncle who is as Catholic as can be. Ask him and he’ll tell you Republicans hate unions and working people and are a bunch of rich guys playing golf at country clubs. He is extremely socially conservative (as in “jail homosexuals”) but somehow the fact that Kennedy was a Democrat outweighs the social rot of the modern Democrat Party. To him, the Democrats are always the Democrats of 1960.

He has 5 kids, all of them practicing Catholics. 2 are Democrats and the rest are Republicans.

Can’t wait until the ban on free speech (political) is lifted for churches. We will see then which churches actually side with God.

Let’s see if the RATS are brave enough to poll their Catholics on their approval of DJT. Probably too late; he’ll pick up that demo with his religious liberty law and the RATS will never see that vote again.

I keep thinking one of the cleverer RATS like Carville will slap these fools down any day now and rebuild the party, but it seems like they’re nowhere near done incinerating themselves.

Democrats have a God problem.

So does Pope Francis. It seems he now thinks he is God.

People like your uncle are why registered independents used to be closet republicans. They were mostly Jews and Catholics who couldn’t bring themselves to join the reps due to family upbringing but couldn’t stand the dems anymore. That was pretty much every registered independent for decades.

Its not like that anymore. Now most independents are people who genuinely don’t like either party.

Wrong!

True Catholics don’t vote for pro-aborts.

The media endorses Pelosi’s declaration of a border wall as “immoral”, while the actual immorality of abortion remains unremarked.

Your perception does not mstch reality.

Trump won the Catholic vote with a 7-point spread according to the exit polls: Trump 52% to Hillary 45%.

In other words Trump did considerably better with Catholics than with American voters as a whole.

It is badly uninformed to write off the Catholic vote as Democratic.

Even count in the welfare cheese sell outs from south of the border Trump won Catholics 52/45. Now that the Democrats have unmasked themselves about their love of abortion and hatred for pro life candidates in their Party that number will move up to a steady 55% and never drop down among all Catholics - even the sell outs AND move from 60% where it was in November to a steady 65% at which time the Catholic vote will be as gone to the Democrats as the White male vote - THANKS TOMAS YOU ARE THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING.

And when they accept that Francis was the first politically appointed Pope - I think that’s sinking in now - and the elite-RAT pedophile cases break, we may just see a revolt.

I remember DWS shrieking over an election 5yrs or so ago ‘My Jews don’t vote like that!’ right before Pelosi’s abortion ‘sacrament’ assertion.

Can someone explain what a "practicing Catholic" as opposed to a non "practicing Catholic" ? is...

Seems to me you are either a Catholic who walks and lives your faith or you are a not a Catholic at all...

...and why does a Catholic need to "practice" their faith, you either live it or you don't ?

Same with Protestants, you are walking with the Lord or you not...

In out terms, a backslider...
