Even the Bible depicts bad things like adultery. If you are serious about avoiding anything that contains depictions of immoral behavior, you’d have to toss out your Bible. Then go live in a cave. But then, our own minds are full of sin and you can’t escape yourself.

You seem to miss the point.

I doubt anyone is reading Scripture for the torrid sex scenes for entertainment.

You might as well try to justify men watching porn cause after all, the Bible mentions nakedness and sex.

No, I think there is a difference between living in a corrupt world and wallowing in the corruption. We must live here, until God takes us away, but as long as we are living here, I don’t think it’s even possible to close our eyes and shut out all of the bad things in the world.

All of our art, and all of our creations reflect our fallen nature, because it is simply not possible for man to create perfection in our current state. Even if you can avoid all of that and only focus on God’s works, you would still be stuck with your own corrupted imagination. So I just think it’s a fools errand to worry too much about it. We are ultimately corrupted by what is inside of us, not what is outside of us.

Ezekiel 23:20 New International Version

There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses.
