No, I think there is a difference between living in a corrupt world and wallowing in the corruption. We must live here, until God takes us away, but as long as we are living here, I don’t think it’s even possible to close our eyes and shut out all of the bad things in the world.
All of our art, and all of our creations reflect our fallen nature, because it is simply not possible for man to create perfection in our current state. Even if you can avoid all of that and only focus on God’s works, you would still be stuck with your own corrupted imagination. So I just think it’s a fools errand to worry too much about it. We are ultimately corrupted by what is inside of us, not what is outside of us.
