Praying.
May the Lord God Almighty grant you peace that passes all understanding. May you draw strength from Him while on your knees before Him. He knows what it is like to let go a son and He promises to never leave us or forsake us. Death does not have the final say. Jesus overcame the grave on our behalf and He has freely shared eternal life with all those who believe. Our precious born and unborn babies and young ones who have ceased to live are in His care. As David declared in:
2 Samuel 12:22-23 He answered, “While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept. I thought, ‘Who knows? The Lord may be gracious to me and let the child live.’ But now that he is dead, why should I go on fasting? Can I bring him back again? I will go to him, but he will not return to me.”
May you, your son, daughter-in-law and rest of family know soon the love of another precious child and may she/he grow strong in the Lord and please Him. In Jesus name I pray.

For all those who have responded with prayers, and those who just responded. I’ll pass along the news we just got. We are expecting a GRANDDAUGHTER! Some have pointed out that she will quickly have me wrapped around her littlest finger. Some have suggested that she already has. A C-section is planned, so October 5th come rain or shine, she’ll be here!
My thanks go out to all who prayed for my Daughter in law and my Granddaughter. Our prayers were answered yesterday at 5:44 PM. When Hope Fae was brought into this world. Officially she was a bit early, but at 7lbs 12oz obviously not “that” early. She had some problems with blood O2, and blood sugar levels, but those were stabilized quickly. She was diagnosed with a heat murmur. Everyone has assured us that this is not uncommon in newborns, but she is now being kept for observation in a NICU in St. Petersburg. Her prognoses is excellent. Last night I was watching at the nursery window when they were trying to hook up a nasal cannula. She didn’t like that even a little bit. She reached up, grabbed the tube, and flung it out of the bed, onto the floor. My Son and DIL have an interesting 18+ years ahead of them.
