When you attempted to assert a position on my behalf when you stated “So you think one not chosen of God can be part of the very elect?
You very much were attempting to use the logical fallacy called a strawman, trying to bait me into agreeing with a position that I did not state. I did not fall for your attempt to get me to say something that I did not say. Further, I called out on your attempt and now you are attempting to deny your attempt.
.
Nonsense.
You tried a back-walk of your previous post, and you’re not getting away with it.
.
He forgets that Jesus said to not cast your pearls before swine lest they turn and rend you. The Bible also tells us to be as wise as serpents, yet as gentle as doves. God does not call us to be naive, setting ourselves up to be killed by the embasaries of satan.
Dan, you ignorant slut.
I’m more than certain this good pastor nor his congregation aren’t paying
the tab for these “refugees” save whatever taxes they pay at the federal level.
I agree.
I think that preacher is virtue signalling which isn’t mercy or compassion. The fear of immigrants come from the fact that many are committing serious crimes in the host countries they go to. Christians are to use discernment as well as to show mercy.
I can’t quote Scripture without looking it up, but I’m pretty sure SOMEWHERE Christ told us, ‘Don’t be a patsy!’ ;)
I have not once contradicted anything that I said. I have corrected your attempt to put words in my mouth.
Good day sir
So the Pastors congregation Is more than the law? Maybe his church should emmigraate elsewhere.
.
You’re a head case.
.
“We help them with things like clothing, and just make friends with them, open up our church for them,” so that they can “become members and part of our spiritual family here,” he told CP.
And yes, we are supposed to do unto others as we would have them do unto us but where does charity end and treason begin?
Helping to get the Jews out of Germany was a far different cry than trying to bring terrorists into this country.
It is a Christians job to feed the hungry even if they might be an enemy but it is not their job to help bring destruction to their own country by aiding the enemy in their destructive agenda.
