Father, we lift up our prayer for the safety and well-being of our elected leaders on this fateful week in our country’s history. May those who would belittle and harm our inauguration proceedings see their evil and selfish plans spoiled.
Be with our new leaders, help them stand strong through the trials they are experiencing, grant them wisdom to see this gigantic task through. We pray for their families, that they will be kept safe and well.

Yes and dear Lord God... not sure if what Roger Stone is saying is true — that someone tried to poison him with radioactive elements... but Lord God YOU know the truth. Reveal and rebuke any one who is trying to do Mr. Trump and his allies like Mr. Stone and their families harm... Reveal these dark deeds and let their plans be foiled against You and Your anointed.
Holy Spirit, guide us in prayer so that Your good will and grand purposes are done in our lives as Americans and in the lives of those in government.
