Vatican (kath.net) The emeritus Pope Benedict XVI received a visit from Curia cardinal Robert Sarah. The meeting took place on Tuesday in the monastery of Mater Ecclesiae, Benedict's residence. Sarah, who is from Africa, is the Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Sacramentary Order.
In 2015, the Cardinal published the much-respected book "God or Nothing".
Cardinal Sarah has no excuse for not updating Benedict on what's going on with Amoris Laetitia / the dubia.
Two of the most admirable Catholics in this world.
Let’s hope he did. Wow! Benedict is looking so frail.
+1
Benedict resigning and Francis being elected is a sting on the part of the orthodox bishops?
Well, I can hope...
I love your idea about the sting. Maybe now we get our church back from the Vatican II crowd.
Which of the bishops are not the “Vatican II crowd”?
How about Burke and Sarah?
Don't bother: you won't find it. In fact, in one of Burke's recent interviews with The Remnant he makes it clear that he believes that Vatican II offers the constant teaching of the Catholic Church. See the link I posted earlier. I find it very interesting that no one has responded to it.
Oops, sorry...I didn’t post it in this thread. Here it is:
