Yes, they had the day as well as the year Christ was born all wrong. But the emphasis converting pagan holidays to Christian was not on historical accuracy, and the “Winter Festival” as it was known in some places could not be moved to accommodate it.

I am not in contradiction on that but could you direct me to this prophesy that I might be better informed. I am not one too old or obstinate to learn.
