Torah is Yehova’s righteousness.

Without it we cannot be admitted to the wedding feast. It is the “garment” mentioned in the parable.

Torah is not “works,” it is obedience.

There are no works in Torah. The works are the Pharisees’ takanot and ma’assim that Yeshua spent his life on Earth demolishing.

The words of Matthew ch 5 are to be believed, not dismissed.

No, it is one’s faith, not the Torah the is the wedding garment.

To say it is the Torah is an error.

Mathew is the “Gospel”, which is part of the Gospels which I accept.

Apparently not.

Do you “keep” this declaration:

Matthew 5:

[17] Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
[18] For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
[19] Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
[20] For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

obviously, no Pharisee will enter the Kingdom, who would wish to join them?

Faith is literally the willing keeping of Torah.

That is why he writes it on the hearts of those that willingly keep it.

This sounding like a classic works vs. faith argument. If the Torah is absolutely necessary then what was nailed to the cross by Christ? Col. 2:14 And made nothing perfect Heb. 7:19 If kept now, shows lack of faith in Christ as Saviour. Gal. 5:2-5

Read chapters 3 and 4 of Hebrews.

It is made plain there that Torah is the Gospel of the Kingdom.

[20] For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

The Pharisees were strict followers of the Torah but were lacking in heart what God required.
But go ye and learn what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

>> “If the Torah is absolutely necessary then what was nailed to the cross by Christ?” <<

The false law of works, the Takanot and Ma’assim of the Pharisees. The unbearable burden spoken of by Peter.

As I said, as long as you love God, your neighbor, and keep the 10 Commandments, that is enough, and do not need the 613 laws of the Torah.

That is my keeping of the Gospel.

Case is closed.

No, the Pharisees were constant violators of Torah.
Matthew 15

[1] Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,
[2] Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
[3] But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
[4] For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
[5] But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;
[6] And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
[7] Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
[8] This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
[9] But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother:

That sounds like part of the Ten Commandments which we all agree are in effect and perpetuity.

Why are you ignoring the rest?

Yeshua was only giving an example to men that violated all of Yehova’s commandments, and replaced them with commandments of their own, like “the washing of the hands.”

You’re not debating, you’re making flimsy excuses for not following Yehova’s perfect law of liberty.

QUOTE: "It is made plain there that Torah is the Gospel of the Kingdom."

It is even more plain here:

1 Corinthians 15 1. Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand.
2. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance[a]: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

The Gospel is the Death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Paul further explains here:

Romans 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

and here is Jesus explaining it before Paul

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

I see no mention of the Torah.
