My first thought when reading the article header was "this is a serious question?????

The answer as to why Christ came as a child to the Virgin Mary and lived the life He did is all in the Holy Bible. Certainly don't need a bunch of religious dogma to try and explain it when the answer is there for anyone who chooses to read it for themselves.

That's a whole separate discussion, why Christ came: to remove the barrier between God and Man (tearing of the veil) so that we who seek Him don't need a middle-man.

I think the better question would have been Why was Jesus born to a Virgin?

 

And the answer would have been to tick off the loonie liberals.

Obviously the correct answer is Christ came to be the perfect sacrifice required for the forgiveness of our sins. He also removed the barrier between man and God (tearing of the veil) .......
