Since the Dubia were published, Pope Francis has reacted only in an indirect way, saying in a recent interview that “certain responses” to Amoris Laetitia “persist in seeing only white or black, when, rather, one ought to discern in the flow of life.” He also said such opposition can derive from “bad spirit” or psychological defects that foster division and argued that such thinking showed a lack of understanding about how the Holy Spirit has been working in the Church since the Second Vatican Council.

Cardinal Peter Turkson has proposed placing on stage all the main parties publicly debating the correct interpretation of the Pope’s apostolic exhortation

Spotlighting Francis-Pharisees taking center stage to fling dirt on Christ.

By refusing to answer the Five Questions, Bergoglio has already convicted himself of heresy. What remains now is to find out how many of the hierarchy will go into schism with the Pope, and how many will remain Catholic.

Two American dioceses are already officially schismatic—Chicago and San Diego. The priests there have been ordered to commit the mortal sin of giving Communion to adulterers, gay couples, fornicators, etc. Cupich and McElroy have been outspokenly in favor of giving Communion to pro-abortionists.

Only about ten American bishops don’t already commit the mortal sin of giving Communion to pro-abortionists. Thus, in principle, only about ten American bishops have not already joined Bergoglio’s schism.

“The Pope would not be responding to the questions they had submitted.” Fine. Act like a brat. My strategy would be to keep asking Pope Francis simple questions, such as:

Did the Lord resurrect from the dead? Yes or no.
Did the Lord give Peter the keys?

I bet Pope Francis refuses to answer even simple questions from the four Cardinals out of spite, since the four Cardinals exposed his heresy and twisting of the faith.

Cardinal Peter Turkson has proposed placing on stage all the main parties publicly debating the correct interpretation of the Pope’s apostolic exhortation Amoris Laetitia (The Joy of Love) so they can listen to and better understand one another.

Oh boy.....we really have reached the "circus" stage of proceedings. Catholic doctrine derived by townhall debate.

"Cardinal Burke, you now have two minutes to put forward your policy on communion for the divorced and civilly remarried. Pope Francis, you may not interrupt......"

*Shaking head*

Turkson.Does.Not.Get.It.

The dubia are specific, precise questions which address the heart of the issue. They require yes/no answers. There is no need for debate and this crisis was not caused by the protagonists not "listening" to one another.

On the contrary, it was caused by the cardinals listening very carefully to what Francis has been trying to say, through hints, footnotes and private letters.
