I agree wholeheartedly with this, but I am puzzled whenever I read articles that claim that people were startled that Trump won. All anyone had to do was look at the size of those rallies to know he was going to win big. A lot of us here knew it. That having been said, Mr. Trump’s win was God’s doing. I do hope he knows that and takes it to heart. God love him, he’s an answer to prayer.
I don’t really see Donald Trump as the religious type, at least not like Pence or Ted Cruz, but I guess he appoints people who are.
Since when is the popular vote or indicator of God at work? All throughout Scripture...as with Gideon, God accomplishes the most with the least amount of human resources/capital so that HE gets the glory.
Plus I agree with Trump that there is room left for human tampering done through illegal activity — hardly God sanctioned.
The last couple of years have certainly felt like we are living in Biblical times .
The physical energy shown by Mr Trump would not have been possible without divine support

I have been praying for months for Donald Trump, Mike Pence & their families, for their protection and the protection of the United States of America. I can’t stop, I think of it constantly.
I also pray for the protection from the evil within; Clintons, Obama, Soros to name but a few. The list is endless.
Just seeing this article posted, blows my mind.

I don’t know whether God granted us a great reprieve or a small one. Either way, I am grateful to Him. If we still turn away from Him, no one can claim we didn’t get more chances than we deserved.

We have been given another chance by God, a chance that is not deserved.
He raises kings up and he takes them down(Daniel Chapter 2).
With the blood of over 60 million aborted children on our hands, we deserved His wrath and judgment.
Instead, He heard our prayers and granted us another chance to be used to fulfill His will.
For which we give Him thanks and glory.
Trump is already affecting the way things are in ways that were unthinkable a year ago.
And Trump has only just begun.

You are right. I was one who prayed very hard. I took Wednesday off so I could stay up late and watch the results.
and yes, when it was official, a wave of peace and relief washed over me. This WAS a reprieve. This WAS the Hand of God.

I was born and raised Jewish (Bar Mitzvah’d and confirmed though 8 years of Sunday school), and throughout my life have dabbled in Hinduism (high school) and Zen Buddhism (have a black belt in zen sword). I was an atheist for 15 years during and after college (although I’m not one now). I’ve never beeen a Christian, although I am so grateful that the founders of this nation were Christians, and that Christianity was at the core of Western Civilization.
Over the years, I have developed my own personal understanding of God, which I won’t get into here.
But I can say that I prayed out loud many times to God to PLEEEEEEEEZZZEEE let Trump be elected instead of Hillary in order to save our nation.
And I do believe that God answered those prayers.
And for that, I am eternally grateful.
I also pray that God will guide Trump in carrying out his presidential responsibilities.
