The Church says that Scripture is inerrant—no such claim is made for the Pope and NOBODY inside the Church has ever made tht claim for the cardinals. There have been many on this forum claim the Church is inerrant. Protestants claim Scripture is inerrant. Catholics claim their denomination is inerrant. That is why there is a schism between the two.

I can point you to a number of Church documents using the term inerrant of scripture. You’re the first person I’ve encountered who had made that claim in regards to the church.
