No he’s not. He’s completely full of crap. And so are you. It’s a sad subsection of Christianity that seems to think the only reasons parties exist is so they can poop on them.

You know only about 5% of the population watches Walking Dead right? Even less for Game of Thrones. Many many more people go to church. Of course if church isn’t generating passion and excitement it’s probably because killjoys have beaten all of the passion and excitement out of it.

God’s Word supports what he said and what I’m saying.

And on the number of people who watch “The Walking Dead” or “Game of Thrones,” those were but two examples of worldly things people feel passionately about. There are innumberable others I could have mentioned, present and past.

God has equipt Christians to resist and fight the evil around them, but the church of Laodicea isn’t interested in doing that. The spirit that moved David to go up against Goliath in the name of the Lord, the Living God, just isn’t present in this church. The enemy is constantly attacking what God says is good and taking ground in our country, and the this church as a whole says “how terrible” and goes back to its own pursuits.

The church can hardly get a response together against California forcing pro-life pregnancy clinics to inform patients of how they might get an abortion, or of other states forcing people to say a man is a woman and vice versa, and to allow the opposite in restrooms, changing rooms and locker rooms. And whenever a Christian does suggest any sort of response, others come in saying it’s no use, or separate the “politics” of, say, the NCAA using its muscle to force acceptance of “trangenderism” from its sports of football and basketball.

Yet then an NFL quarterback insults some people and the league’s ratings drop. So many people will stop watching the NFL and cause it to feel some pain in that case, but they won’t support not watching sports because a league sets itself against the Lord.
