Klamath Falls, Oregon

About 60 people arrived for the start of the kickoff rally in Klamath Falls … and the crowd kept growing as the event continued.

“I am excited about the newcomers and their heart for this outreach,” said Diane, the local leader. “I’m hoping will be able to continue to build up our team.”

The guest speaker was Lori Eckstine, from the Rachel’s Vineyard group in southern Oregon. Rachel’s Vineyard offers retreats for healing for those involved in an abortion experience.

Diane also met with visitors who’d driven two hours to the kickoff – and wanted to know more about 40 Days for Life because they’re interested in bringing a vigil to their community in the future.

“Now on to 40 days of prayer on the streets outside the Government Center!” Diane said.

“Wow!” said Catherine, the local campaign coordinator. “The Holy Spirit is surely working in Council Bluffs, Iowa!”

She described the 40 Days for Life kickoff rally as “amazing! Please keep us in prayer that God chooses to close Planned Parenthood in Council Bluffs this campaign. We are all looking forward to standing together for Life.”

Rally speakers included Pastor Nathan Sherrill of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (their web page features a link to the Council Bluffs campaign), Martin Cannon of the Thomas More Society) and Dr. Lloyd Pierre, who is involved with the abortion reversal pill project.

“May God bless your mission to unite us all to stand up and speak out for life and help to stop abortion!” Catherine said.
