The archdiocese is refusing to disclose reason behind sudden removal
PARAMUS, N.J. (ChurchMilitant.com) - Two administrators at a Catholic high school currently engaged in a legal battle with a lesbian teacher have been ousted without explanation.
According to the archdiocese of Newark Tuesday, Pres. James P. Vail and Principal Stephanie Macaluso "are on leave from their posts" at Paramus Catholic High School effective immediately. The reasons, archdiocesan spokesman James Goodness stated, are personal, and further details would not be given.
Paramus Catholic High School in northeastern New Jersey is presently fighting a lawsuit filed by Kate Drumgoole, an open lesbian fired from her position after school officials were informed Drumgoole was "married" to another woman. Drumgoole alleges her firing violates state anti-discrimination laws.
Goodness did not explicitly declare the removal of Pres. Vail and Prin. Macaluso to be unassociated with the ongoing litigation, but instead remarked, "If you try to link everything together it might not be accurate."
Paramus issued an email to school parents Tuesday announcing the superintendent and associate superintendent of schools for the Newark archdiocese would temporarily fill the vacancies until "an interim principal" could be named.
The attorney representing Vail, named as being directly responsible for Drumgoole's termination, maintained he is still "the attorney of record" for the school president "as of now," but declined to comment further. Both legal representation for Drumgoole and the plaintiff herself have made no public comment on the removal of Vail and Macaluso.

Did there really need to be any more explanation?
Or are catholics not allowed to uphold the tenets of their faith in their own private schools?
Lesbians are the least of our concerns. Eliminate islam and we’ll talk.
Wrong.
We can have more than one concern. Sodomites are carriers of many social pathologies, including domestic fascism.
You are wrong. I’ve had two lesbians living right across the streetfor 18 years. They’ve raised two “straight” daughters, both of whom are in college working towards advanced degrees in hard sciences. They’re literally the best neighbors I’ve had in 25 years.
I’m far more concerned about the burka clad freaks moving in.

Nice anecdote. Of course, it doesn’t conform to what the sodomite lifestyle generally involves or how the extreme narcissism of the lifestyle manifests itself, but it could be true...or you could be making it up as a troll. It doesn’t really matter.
This will be the case that sets a precedent that all churches and private religious schools must uphold homosexual marriage as a civil right.
They should be but there must also be consistency. Were I this Ms. Drumbgoole’s lawyer I would have my investigator discover if any staff at the school are known divorced and remarried Catholics. If there are then her claim of discrimination is at least up for debate.
The two suspended administrators were NOT upholding the tenets of their faith. The article that ChurchMilitant took its information, verbatim, explains that Macaluso and Vail were both supportive of Drumgoole.
So why were they fired?
Apparently, Macaluso was outed as divorced and remarried. This would be consistent with the diocese’s assertions.
Just because you have great lesbian neighbors doesn’t mean that he’s wrong to have concerns. Discussions about Islam don’t preclude concerns about homosexuality. We can have concerns about both.
His priorities are misplaced. My lesbian neighbors aren’t plotting to commit mass murder.
It’s called “perspective”. Go get some.

Why did you enclose straight in quotes? Are they not biblically straight/right with G-d?
I’m not fit to judge their rightness with God. Neither are you.
L
Neither are my Muslim neighbors.
What's your point?
You sure about that? Folks thought the very same thing in San Bernadino.
I was startled to learn Paramus Catholic was Catholic.
So about the lesbians....you were saying?
Are the lesbians Protestants?
My question wasn’t a judgement. It was a query: why did you enclose straight with quotes?
Where did they obtain the “daughters?” That part is usually glossed over.
