In the name of Jesus, we do pray. Amen.
Lord God, in Samuel 3:11 you told Samuel
“I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.” This was because of the evil abominations the priest Eli was allowing his sons Eli and Phineas to commit at Your tabernable Lord.
You then told Eli that in 1 day him and every male of his household would die, and there would be no more of his house forever, for you would purge the evil out.
In Samuel 4:18 Eli fell off a bench, broke his neck and died. This because he received the news his 2 sons had been killed in battle.
After this, Samuel, a priest after Your own heart restored Your glory in Israel. Shortly thereafter You brought forth David and more goodness to Israel.
Lord You have shown our nation clearly that there is great evil in our camp. As clearly as You showed Eli.
I pray and ask You Lord that you would do such a thing in America. That ears of the world would “tingle” at that which You will do in American.
That you would restore America to a glory as You did Israel. That the tears and cries that come because of those that work evil, would be diminished. As You bring low the wicked and exalt those that love good.
That America would be as the tree in Psalms 1...that flourishes and bears good fruit, in its time.
