Every living thing seems to need light infused compounds that we cannot really duplicate. We know supposedly know what the chemical compound is for sugar, e.g., but for some reason man-made sugar doesn't work. We meat-eaters may not directly consum light infused compounds, but all that beef was eating grass and grain.
