Strategic Spiritual Warfare
Thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 CORINTHIANS 15:57
Everyone has their own way of waging warfare. Some emphasize intercessory prayer, and believe the secret is in getting hundreds of people praying for the same thing. Others lean towards praise and worship. Some stress binding and loosing. Others believe the key is in locating and naming certain spirits which supposedly control different parts of the world. Still others think there must be some prophetic act to be performed or declaration to be made.
Here is the problem with virtually all of these things: they are just that THINGS methods, techniques, teachings, strategies, but they are not Christ. The one in Christ is seated with Him in the heavenly places. If we see ourselves in Him then we cannot help but understand that since the battle is already won, and Victory is ours, then we do not need a method or a technique designed to get a victory which we already possess.

Amen!
Jesus demonstrated proper “spiritual warfare” during the Temptation of 40 days in the desert... where He used the “Sword of the Spirit” to cut down the lies, deceptions and dangerous temptations of Satan.
This proper “spiritual warfare” is akin to what Paul taught about “pulling down strongholds and every thought that resists the knowledge of God” as we “wrestle with principalities”...
I believe Paul took his “wrestling” metaphor from where Jacob wrestled with a principality — an angel.
True spiritual warfare is about personal overcoming of the things in our lives that separate us from God. I.e. sin and lack of faith that produces good works. The evil one is always prowling around true believers, looking for someone to devour...

Excellent. Thanks..

I'm convinced that everything we do is spiritual warfare.
Every decision we make here on earth has ramifications in the spiritual realm.
Every time we make a decision to do what is right and just, we win a victory against the forces of evil as they try to bring us down.
Every time we capitulate to sin, it's a defeat for us and a victory for the enemy.
There's nothing that we do that's really insignificant or unimportant in the grand scheme of things when you look at it that way.
1 Corinthians 10:31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
This is the owners manual for spiritual warfare if you are using other methods you are losing.
Ephesians 6:10-18 King James Version (KJV)
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Not Modhammed;

not reading your Bible faithfully every day;

not any of hundreds of other things we like to do that are considered to be necessary;
but Jesus Christ.
HIM: alone.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
