Dear Friends in Jesus and Mary,
The Holy Rosary has a very special place in my "Spiritual Life".
Recitation of the Holy Rosary has helped me to cope with the ups and downs of life.
My Mother used to often tell me, that if you are troubled in any way ---- "Go to Jesus and Mary" by reciting the Holy Rosary. They will never let you down.
When I recite the Holy Rosary, I often think of the unique and special relationship between Jesus Christ and Mother Mary during their life on earth.
I have never stopped reciting the Holy Rosary when I learnt it at the age of 10.
I believe that the Holy Rosary is a Miraculous Prayer in itself and if said with faith and devotion it is a great help on a daily basis.
Here are two beautiful articles on the Holy Rosary.
1) The Seven Dolour Rosary.

2) Suggestions on saying the Holy Rosary

The Triune nature of God is taught in Scripture. It is a systematic teaching of the totality of what Scripture reveals about the nature of God.
The rosary is made up of whole cloth - centuries later.
No, I don’t.
If you are not aware of the myriad of incongruities, de facto and de jure, across the spectrum of Protestant denominations you are either disqualifyingly uninformed, or being disingenuous.
How is that statement credible when Trinitarian theology predates the codification of Scripture?
As I said earlier...the rosary was granted: not "made up."
God hasn’t told you to do what you’re doing about Mary. That’s all on you. It’ll be interesting hearing you explaining to Him why you despise His Mother and try to steer other Christians away from her and her intercessions for their souls. He apparently thinks the world of her, Himself.
Doesn’t have anything to do with my comment to you.
Go down that rabbit hole by yourself.
OK then your claim is completely false.
Anyone can say anything but if there is no proof it doesn’t fly.
All your other attacks on Protestantism, a bunch of liking to hear yourself type.
I am aware though of those “qualities” in Catholicism.
Sure it does!
You either haven't thought it through, or are in denial. When you hold up Catholicism up to Protestant standards, it fails every time; unfortunately, so does Protestantism....
Nonsense. Your request for documentation was completely fatuous and inane. Protestants can't even agree on the theology of baptism. Asking for documentation, apart from the different names on the front of the Churches is like asking for the serial number of a particular noodle in a bowl of spaghetti.
Understanding the teaching of the Apostles through circulating letters laid out the Triune Nature of God.
When the church was attacked from within, it was formally laid out to guard against encroaching heresy.
A belief, without Scriptural support.
God has specifically told all believers what to do about Mary in Scripture. I follow it. I don't add to it.
It’ll be interesting hearing you explaining to Him why you despise His Mother and try to steer other Christians away from her and her intercessions for their souls. He apparently thinks the world of her, Himself.
Your personal attack not withstanding, I do not despise Mary in any way. I do not believe more than God declared of Blessed Mary. I don't make her into a demigoddess and obviously don't pretend she can hear us from earth.
But you already admitted Trinitarianism requires a systematic study of the whole of Scripture. That it's elements exist in the disparate parts of the cannon proves it did exist apart from the whole, therefore it predates the whole.
Furthermore, there is no reliable record showing the apostles letters were universally disseminated and approved for individual Churches as you allude to with your statement regarding attacks from within and the putting down of heresies.
You act like that is dispositive.
The prohibition here is not simply that of some practice based on lack of example, bu that of teaching as a doctrine that something is a common fundamental practice despite any positive example, while what is taught is contrary to it, as in instruction on prayer to Heaven only God is addressed in prayer, and Christ is stated to be the only heavenly intercessor btwn man and God, while praying to created beings is only condemned. But under your hermeneutic, one could promote everything from consensual endocannibalism (there is no example of such being condemned) to creative powers being attributed to angels (or playing bingo in Heaven).
Yes, in the sense that it is authoritative above all else.
This is a false argument you are presenting. The letters were circulated. From them truth was understood. Doctrines were believed. It was during the time of attacks from within that the councils delineated the doctrine from all of Scripture.
"Mary" has promised much more stuff than Bernie Sanders!!!
"The Most Holy Virgin in these last times in which we live has given a new efficacy to the recitation of the Rosary to such an extent that there is no problem,
no matter how difficult it is, wheter temporal or above all spiritual, in the personal life of each one of us, of our families...that cannot be solved by the Rosary.
There is no problem, I tell you, no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot resolve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary."
Sister Lucia dos Santos
(Given to St. Dominic and Blessed Alan de la Roche)
1 | Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall receive powerful graces. |
2. | I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary. |
3. | The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies |
4. | It will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of people from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means. |
5. | The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish. |
6. | Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying Himself to the consideration of its Sacred Mysteries shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise Him in His justice, he shall not perish by an unprovided death; if he be just, he shall remain in the grace of God, and become worthy of eternal life. |
7. | Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the Sacraments of the Church. |
8. | Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plentitude of His graces; at the moment of death they shall participate in the merits of the Saints in Paradise. |
9. | I shall deliver from purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary. |
10. | The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in Heaven. |
11. | You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary. |
12. | All those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities. |
13. | I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court during their life and at the hour of death |
14. | All who recite the Rosary are my children, and brothers and sisters of my only Son, Jesus Christ. |
15. | Devotion of my Rosary is a great sign of predestination. |
Rome just made this up!
The text does NOT say this at ALL!
