****He knows what he is doing in confounding the authority of God’s word. He’s a liberal using his position to undermine Christianity.****

He is not some liberal that just sneaked into the position of the Pope by subterfuge and craftiness. He is there and still speaking with support from the hierarchy.

This is truly the “Great falling away”. Allowed by the Father and justifiably so.

The “falling away” happened in the 1rst and 2nd centuries.

What is now the RCC, claims that Linus was Pope after Peter. Peter was the head of the Church after Christ ascended, however after Peter was John the Revelator. John, an Apostle, was still on the earth when the people claimed Linus was the head of the Church. Linus was never an Apostle. The Lord’s own actions marked the one who truly had authority on the earth.

And to stress this point, while Linus was claiming to lead the Church, the Lord Himself, was talking to John face to face and showing him the future. And giving him instructions. The Lord never visited Linus nor any Pope ever. The Lord was instructing His prophet face to face as He has always done since Adam.

The prophet Amos said: Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
This is an eternal law. The Lord always chooses a prophet and gives them instructions for His people.

There were no prophets at Nicaea or at Trent. Nor any place in the RCC. Even though in Rev 11 John talks explicitly about prophets in the last days, the RCC has none.

Dan 2
44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

After the falling away the Lord talks about setting up a kingdom on the earth that will eventually consume all nations. The Lord’s true Church would be restored and nothing can destroy it. The prophesy of the “falling away” matches Daniel’s prophesy.

See, Linus wasn’t chosen by God, he was chosen by popular vote of the people. When the people chose Linus they, in fact, fell away and created their own church. This is why by the 3rd century the RCC didn’t resemble the original Church at all in structure or in deeds. It was a church created by men.

The vast majority of people won’t recognize the true Church of God for what it truly is, until the judgement. That’s a prophesy by Jesus Himself. Jesus said only a few would be saved.

Want another sign?

1 Tim 4:
1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

Paul gave a brief description of what he saw in vision of our time.

3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats,

The entire leadership of the RCC refuses to marry, which according to Paul is a sign of the doctrines of the devil. Abstaining from meats is a break off of the RCC, the Seventh Day Adventists again -doctrines of the devil...

And now everyone is all shaken up over this Pope.... I don’t see why, it was prophesied about 2000 years ago. \shrug
