The Pope Emeritus has branded as “pure inventions” the latest speculations on the third secret, according to which the Holy See has not published everything and in which the missing part speaks ill of the Council and of the liturgical reform. But it is certain that the matter will not be dismissed
“A bad Council and a bad Mass.” This would presumably be the “true” content of the third secret of Fatima that the Vatican has alledgedly kept secret. But Joseph Ratzinger, who guarded it, published it and commented on it, brands as “pure invention” yet another alleged “revelation” on this most discussed and studied prophetic text.

The revelation appears to be a heavy one. The German theologian Father Ingo Döllinger, a personal friend of Benedict XVI, gave Maike Hickson, on the site OnePeterFive, an announcement nothing short of sensational, telling of a dialogue face-to-face with the then-Cardinal Ratzinger: “Not long after the publication of the Third Secret of Fatima, in June 2000, by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger told Father Döllinger during a face-to-face conversation that there is a part of the Third Secret that they have not yet published! ‘There is more than what we have published’ said Ratzinger. He had also told Döllinger that the published part of the Secret is authentic and that the unpublished part of the Secret speaks of ‘a bad Council and a bad Mass’ that would come in the near future. Father Döllinger gave me permission to publish these facts on the feast of the Holy Spirit and gave me his blessing.” Thus, a new supposed revelation about the alleged unseen content. These liberals prefer to speculate about something that might undermine Vatican II, rather than accept the information provided.
If the Novus Ordo is a “bad Mass,” why did Sr. Lucia assist at it every day for the last 30+ years of her life? Doesn’t ring true.
Having lived a cloistered life in a convent from 1948 until her death, I’m not sure Sr. Lucy had ready access to the Traditional Latin Mass after 1969.
It seems un-Ratzinger like to me.
For someone who seems to think the rest of us should just go about our lives you sure do spend a lot of time on these things as well.
I would think that in addition to having no choice she was extraordinarily obedient. My own view FWIW is that obedience among even the most loyal Catholics ought to become a selective thing since the devil took root in the Vatican (1960s).
Since I teach Catholic Apologetics, I need to maintain an awareness.

When Roncalli was elected in 1958, he restricted access to her and 'she' was not seen until 1967 on the 50th anniversary of Fatima visit by Montini. Also in 1958 or 1959, the Fr. Fuentes interview was anonymously attacked from clerical circles and he was later removed as postulator.

Based upon credible photographic analysis, the 'Sr. Lucia' who surfaced in 1967 was a substitute. The chin, teeth and smile and entire demeanor of the woman are the complete opposite of Sr. Lucia. People were thrown off in the switch because they cleverly substituted someone of the age when the genuine Sr. Lucia was last available for any sort of contact, about ten years her junior. Even when things loosened up a bit, visits from cousins were restricted in the following manner, they could only speak to 'her' through the iron-grill window to the cloistered convent, and even then with her sitting on the opposite side of the room in the presence of other nuns.

The switch was made in 1959. The real Sr. Lucia most likely died a martyr, that is she was murdered by the to cover up the Third Secret.
The well-lauded Antonio Socci book, "The Fourth Secret" reveals that after the election of Roncalli, the real Sr. Lucia wanted to schedule a worldwide radio address of warning. Roncalli wound up calling the Vatican-2 council on January 25, 1959, the anniversary of the the night in 1938 the sky was illumined with unknown lights that Our Lady had prophesied at Fatima as being the warning for the onset of "another great war'.

It is not yet clear today how and why Sister Lucia, usually very reserved and submissive, would immediately after the election of John XXIII (on October 28, 1958) think of an initiative as sensation as a radio message to the world. The year 1960 had not yet arrived. What was she afraid of? What did she know? What urgency did she feel? It would never be known. Because in the firs days of January 1959 an alarmed summit met in the Vatican and, faced with the prospect that the visionary of Fatima would reveal to the world something the Madonna had said, by the will of the Pope there issued the prohibition on the sister, and her substantial isolation from the entire world.”
I have always believed that the entire secret was not revealed. I have read several Fatima books and the concur.
1994 private revelation to a French priest
"There will be a wicked council planned and prepared that will change the countenance of the Church. Many will lose the Faith; confusion will reign everywhere. The sheep will search for their shepherds in vain.
A schism will tear apart the holy tunic of My Son. This will be the end of times, foretold in the Holy Scriptures and recalled to memory by Me in many places. Do you think that in referring to “second half of the Twentieth Century” the intent was really the second half of the 2000 century (2050-)? Or was the chastisement and war actually delayed or cancelled?
No, not at all. Just pointing out that you participate in the same things you accuse others of doing. If you’re just trying to “maintain awareness” ,then participation other than reading isn’t necessary.
My “participation” is consistent with shutting down speculation, which was your objection on the earlier thread.
Taking each statement and account at face value for the moment, it could be that Cardinal Ottaviani being tasked with issuing the document to the heads of the U.S., U.S.S.R., and P.R.O.C. was also under restrictions not to reveal the secret so he doubly encoded it by inserting it in the larger text and paraphrased it as well. Therefore the general idea was put across but not the specifics - and that could be with the timeline as well. It also focused on what worried the world populace then, nuclear war, instead of the real threat of satanic global hedgemony and tyranny - with global war as a side dish.
Of course chastisements could be postponed, but things have gotten incredibly worse and not better since 1960.
In retrospect the ‘Free West’ versus ‘Communist East’ meme that was set up post-WW II achieved its objectives of paralyzing the Christian West into not focusing on other designs upon it, as well as the planned corruption of its citizenry and the preparation of them to cede religious beliefs and national identity to become mindless globalist worker ‘prols’.
The private revelation to the priest, while on surface appearance not as credible, actually reads with the same cadence and flow as the revealed part of the Secret of Fatima and just vague enough so that it would not have meaning until that exact time. That actually could be it.
Pius XI was the one who was supposed to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary to topple Communism and prevent World War II and the subsequent evils but instead he just consecrated the world.
Pius XII did the same in the 1940’s and then later also consecrated “The Russian peoples” to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in the very early 1950’s but not in union with all the ordinaries in their own diocesan cathedrals - so that could have put a hold on the chastisement for awhile - but the worst chastisement was the loss of faith and billions of souls as a result of Vatican-2.
Bp. Sheen’s insight that it was aimed at the conversion of the Muslims rings true for our time.
The real threat, however, has always been those behind the curtains who created and mobilized Communism for the destruction of Christianity and now who are using the Muslims to overrun Europe to finish the job for them - after they have already corrupted the native populace to lose their souls via abortion, sodomy, and the other panoply of evils.
