Joe Smith told Mormons that they might be saved

When logic backs you into a coroner, always misdirect and obfuscate...right?

Mark 13 13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Matt 25: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

To understand any eternal law you have to understand all of it's principles. You have to follow the narrow path that leads first to perfection then endure in righteousness till the end. Then Jesus has to pronounce you saved to your face.

You actually think you're saved into heaven already??

Matt 18
3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

So you're like a little child?? Really? Seriously?

You're meek and humble. You love all men unconditionally. You forgive immediately. You're teachable?

Seeing as how after all the years we have corresponded, you haven't said not a single kind word to me, I'm going with a "no" on that question.

It's like I said before, people create their own concept of Jesus. They give it a personality complete with it's own rules, laws and it's own gospel. They worship it, refer to it as authoritative, even put words in it's mouth.

Look, yours has already awarded you salvation. Wow!

But not the real person that is Jesus. His laws can't be compromised or ignored. And when the judgement comes, you will be judged just like the rest of us..

"Mark 13 13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."

What does Jesus mean by "endure unto the end?" You seem to imply he means be good enough long enough, do enough good works while alive, avoid sin enough until you're dead, etc. That is a classic business contract. You keep your end of the bargain and I will keep mine.

That is not the covenant relationship between a loving Father and his children.

You can find how the Bible itself defines enduring to the end in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, specifically v. 2:

"1 Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2 By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures"

That's it. The biblical definition of enduring to the end is holding fast to the Gospel until the end, which makes perfect sense since, well, you know - the Gospel is that whole thing about how Jesus died for your sins and rose again... Christianity 101. "Of first importance."

Notice also that the one and only time the Bible mentions falling from grace is in reference to those who make works a requirement:

"You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace." - Galatians 5:4

After taking a few passages from the Bible out of context to support Mormon heresy, you asked, "You actually think you're saved into heaven already??"

My answer is a resounding YES! But unlike your strawman falsety, that I have already 'earned' salvation ("... yours has already awarded you salvation'), I did not and could not EARN what God gives by His Grace according to His Promise. I did what God requires and the result is what God illustrates several places in the Old and New Testament happens when we believe the Promise of God, He saved me right then from the wrath to come (1Thess 1:9&10).

Joseph Smith proved to be a false prophet, and Mormonism teaches false doctrine by ignoring the 'to whom' and 'for what timing' necessary to rightly divide the Word of God.

Huff and puff all you want, Mormonism is a cult of false Christianity lookalike dogma, but not very closely lookalike.

You might want to apply your 'teaching' to the man at the center of mormonism, Joseph Smith: "You have to follow the narrow path that leads first to perfection then endure in righteousness till the end." Joe was a serial adulterer and chronic liar, a sexual degenerate using religious musings to lure women into his sexual service. Let us know when you reach 'perfection' on your efforts ...

SOMEbody has no clue as to what their chosen religion's leaders have said!!

"All men are saved by grace alone without any act on their part, meaning they are resurrected"

(Bruce McConkie, What Mormons Think of Christ", LDS tract, p.28).
