Jesuit Editor Says Pope has Removed Restrictions on Divorced/Remarried Access to Sacraments

Father Antono Spadaro, the Italian Jesuit who was an influential figure in the meetings of the Synod on the Family, now writes that Pope Francis has removed all restrictions on the access of divorced and remarried Catholics to the sacraments.

Father Spadaro's controversial interpretation of Amoris Laetitia-- which appears to contradict the claims that the Pope made no major changes in Church teaching or discipline-- appears in Civilta Cattolica, the Jesuit journal that Father Spadaro edits.

Civilta Cattolica is regarded as a semi-authoritative source because its contents are approved in advance by the Vatican Secretariat of State. Father Spadaro has worked closely with Pope Francis as adviser and translator, and reportedly helped to draft the apostolic exhortation.

“The “restrictions” are not punishment, they are protection.”

Yes, the true Church restricts those who are unrepentant fornicators from the Blessed Sacrament in order to protect them from committing another mortal sin, for he who partakes in the Blessed Sacrament while in unrepented mortal sin incurres another mortal sin.

What kind of mercy welcomes a soul into that worse fault.

Also, it is to protect our Lord Jesus from being profaned. To allow the profane to receive our Lord, is to profane our Lord.

To recieve our Lord without cleansing oneself from sin is to fail to discern His body, or to discern of whom it is that we are receiving and what disposition of submission is required to safely receive Him as our guest.

In 1 Corinthians 11:27 and forward, Paul writes to the Church:

Wherefore, whosoever shall eat this bread, or drink the chalice of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and of the blood of the Lord.

28 *But let a man prove himself: and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of the chalice.

29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh judgment to himself, not discerning the body of the Lord.

30 Therefore are there many infirm and weak among you, and many sleep.

31 But if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

32 But whilst we are judged, we are chastised by the Lord; that we may not be condemned with this world.

But, but, but.....

Hence it can no longer simply be said that all those in any ‘irregular’ situations are living in a state of mortal sin and are deprived of sanctifying grace. - Francis

The man cannot reverse the age old traditions of the Church. No pope has the authority to try.

Then we must resolve that the man CURRENTLY sporting the white robe and cape cannot be pope. For a pope is the faithful dispenser of untainted tradition of the Church, always in union with his true predecessors to the chair of Peter.

Teaching error is a most grievous offence against Christ and His bride, and automatically disqualifies one from office. (Authoritative references available on request)

We can thus stop calling Mr. Bergoglio, then, “pope”. Let us repent and believe the good news of the gospel and stop watching a man who hates the words “Repent!” and “Do penance!” and “Go thy way and SIN NO MORE.”

Such attitudes are foreign to the Church, so wake up dear souls, and take action.

Now what else would one expect from a Jesuit. 99.9% of them are nothing in the world but leftist academics. They could care less who goes up for Communion. This of course includes Bergoglio.
