“1. I believe the sole rule of faith for Christians has to be Scripture.”
That’s not what scripture says though now is it?
“2. I believe works or any sense of salvific cooperation with Gods grace as constitutive to a Christians eternal life is unbiblical.”
James 2:24 is biblical.
“3. The idea of Mary and the saints being involved in the salvation of a Christian is tantamount to a denial of the sufficiency of Christs redeeming work on Calvarys cross.”
Anyone who prays for the salvation of someone else is involved in that person’s salvation. We are all members of the same Body. Colossians 1:24
“4. #3 can also be said of Purgatory, the sacrifice of the Mass, the Catholic view of salvation/justification, and more. These and more of the elements of Catholic teaching result in a denial of the sufficiency of the sacrifice of Christ. More to follow in a more detailed post.”
Nope. Nothing in Catholic teaching denies the sufficiency of Christ’s sacrifice because it all exists because of Christ’s sacrifice.
“5. What Catholics call the veneration of Mary and the saints is actually idolatry.”
Nope. Idolatry is to worship someone or something other than God as if he or it was God. Veneration is not that. Thus, veneration is not idolatry.
