The reason for this is because the first draft of history on communist tyranny was highly influenced by historians in academia who were communist sympathizers who may mau’ed more unbiased historians into using these well documented low ball numbers that not even communist sympathizers could dispute and had to accept as fact.
The real numbers of those murdered by Communists are actually much higher .
