The Methodist Church is very liberal and has been for years.

You can’t expect anything else from a denomination that for the most part no longer even believes the first line of the bible .

(Revelation 3:1) And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

(Revelation 3:2) Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

(Revelation 3:3) Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

(Revelation 3:4) Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.

(Revelation 3:5) He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

(Revelation 3:6) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

"One of their big points was the moral imperative they saw to "drop the gender binary" from avoiding such language as "boys and girls" to having "all-gender restrooms"

Since scripture conforms to the "gender binary" exclusively it appears they've completely tossed out the bible.

Grooming and recruiting. It’s how the queers propagate.

Without a doubt. My wife’s “best friend” is a screaming liberal AND a pastor for a Methodist church, and one of the things she was going to concentrate on was more LGBTQXYZ awareness.

Just out of curiosity, are there any Fundamentalist Methodists left, or was George Beverly Shea the last one?

Why I and a lot of the GOP don't take the "evangelicals" seriously anymore, at least politically.

If evangelicals can't even defend their own churches, why should anybody take their advice on policy or campaign strategy?

Good grief! Never thought I’d see the day when the same sentence would contain both “VBS” and “LGBT”.

Maybe a Methodist VBS would have that; most of them have gone to the dark side.

I was incensed when our Baptist VBS had the kids doing hip-hop dancing on the stage (a SBC program). We quit attending the church. I guess that’s mild compared to LGBT.

Yes, probably. Methodists are Methodists, after all.

This is why you don’t allow women ministers. They put their “feelings” before the plain requirements that Scripture proscribes: pastors should be the husband of one wife, a good father with respectful children etc. When a church ignores God’s Word and lets the wicked world tell it what is acceptable, God’s blessing is forfeited and Satan rules. It never fails to turn out that way.

I am aware as I need to be of this crap. And I am careful to inoculate the kids I teach against it.
