Father God, we come to You in Christ, seeking peace and faith.

Lord, we continue to ask that You would be with our military, to give them strength according to each day's need and to watch over their souls.

As the primary voting is about to begin, we pray that You will guide the voters to bring about a good result. Give discernment to those who vote.

O LORD, You alone are God forever - who was, and who is, and who ever shall be, the Rock of all ages and the Lord of all things. As Elijah covered his face in Your presence, as even Moses could not look on Your face and live, so Your holiness and majesty are fires too great for us, until Christ stands with us before Your throne. Fire and earthquake, powerful winds that tear the mountains and shatter the rocks are faint echoes of Your might. And still You are loving toward the works of Your hands and tender with Your children, and You are in the gentle whisper. We praise You, whose strength and whose love are beyond our expression, in the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
