So for today you must reject the con man we see in Ann Barnhardt's photo.
I know that is painful, but if you start to feel that pain it is a sign that you may find the right road, which is to attend Mass where it is as it was in the day of a certainly authentic pontiff, as in Pope Pius XII.
I’ve been pondering lately whether I should be looking more at Orthodoxy.
orthodoxy as in the Greek Orthodox church?....or the Ukranian Orthodox church?......I could fit into either of those...
Thank you for posting the full text.
We take a train to attend a Tridentine Latin Mass. I would suggest it for any Catholic in these trying times. It’s a beautiful Mass, so very respectful.
Um, Ann? The loss of souls have been multiplying since Vatican II. You're just starting to see the personification of Vatican II in Bergoglio.
Maybe in fact Francis is a Russian plant to drive people to Orthodoxy. Ah Ha! I knew Putin was behind this!
He’s ashamed because he found out that Yashua was Jewish.
Pope Franciss hiding of the pectoral cross brings Romans 1:16 to mind.
In fact, not only does the above verse reference the salvation of the Jews, but regarding the Chair of Peter, Galations 2:7-9 shows that preaching the gospel to the Jews was regarded as Gods will for Peter.
You suggest Catholics take trains to Mass? What if there are no trains where I live? (we do have an occasional Latin Mass, however).
It was just a suggestion for those who do. We’ve got a number of TLMs around us, but none we can get to by bike, and we no longer have a car. So it’s a train for us.

That sounds like a great idea. You are to be lauded for the sacrifice to get there.
The point is to attend a Mass that is approved by valid popes. The Novus Ordo is not a valid Mass, as it brings about a loss of faith.
I was just teasing :). Was about to suggest to our bishop he investigate light rail to every parish.
“The Novus Ordo is not a valid Mass, as it brings about a loss of faith.”
It doesn’t exactly endanger my faith (which endures regardless of what the parish, diocese or Vatican does) but tends to elicit very negative emotions toward the Church, so I avoid it. But most Catholics don’t react that way, including my 98 YO mother and kids, and none of this is relevant to the validity anyway.
“...I’d make a bigger deal about other things he’s actually said (assuming they weren’t due to the many mistranslations)...”

You haven’t been paying attention to what he has been saying or doing. See

IT IS A DANGER. Please see “Problems with the New Mass & Vatican II” at the following link:

I wandered for a long time. Husband was raised in the
Baptist church; all his folks were Baptists, his brother
& SIL are Catholics (I’m not particularly impressed by
their brand of “religion”). He refused church altogether
for many years; but now that he’s old it’s different. -
I was in the Greek Orthodox Church for a while, but went
through a terrible time when my mother passed away & that
didn’t work for me after that - lived too far away from
the church, customs were too foreign, husband was too
hostile about it. I don’t like the Baptist preoccupation
with ALCOHOL being EVIL & I think there’s a lot wrong with
the Baptist theology. I do think I *could* tolerate going
in to the local Catholic church, sans my husband; but I do
not like all that “Vatican” stuff. I’m at a loss right now
on what to do. I do not feel at peace with the casual,
every now and then approach to taking the sacrament in the
Baptist church. - Any thoughts or suggestions anyone?
Missouri Synod Lutheran ,perhaps.
I found Lutheran more Scripture oriented and without all the statuary and saint-themed momentos. Sadly, about half of Lutheran churches now embrace homosexual choices and other destructive ideas. It is recorded that Luther did not want the church called after him,but to be known as the Evangelical Church.
