Here's a great way to show mercy. Confront evil head-on in order to confound it and protect fellow believers. That is mercy.

Oh, if that is so I will try to correct it and I repent of both accusing you and apologize for bad link.

I will investigate. Misleading was none of my doing.

Repent of excerpting your own blog.

YOU HAVE TO SCROLL DOWN HER WEB PAGE TO SEE THE ARTICLE THAT I REFERENCED IN MY ORIGINAL COMMENTS.

It seems when evil is exposed the reaction is for evil to pour fuel on the fire. /s

Or better yet, here is the more direct link to Ann Barnhardt’s post quoting Pope St. Felix III.

That is better, for sure.

And since you have the courtesy of replying to posts (the most irritating blog-posters are those who only post threads and never participate), I’ll ask you a sincere question: Why didn’t you simply post the entire (quite short) post?

Here it is (this does not violate any FR terms of use and I removed a few quotation marks but that was no big deal):

********

Starting Thursday Off Right: fight! Fight! FIGHT! Edition

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

PATER NOSTER, qui es in caelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum. Adveniat regnum tuum. Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra. Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie, et dimitte nobis debita nostra sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris. Et ne nos inducas in tentationem, sed libera nos a malo. Amen.

It is better that the truth be known than that scandal be covered up.
St. Augustine

Not to oppose error is to approve it; and not to defend truth is to suppress it; and indeed to neglect to confound evil men, when we can do it, is no less a sin than to encourage them.
Pope St. Felix III

If the faith is in imminent peril, prelates ought to be accused by their subjects, even in public.
St. Thomas Aquinas

The greatest obstacle in the apostolate of the Church is the timidity or rather the cowardice of the faithful.
Pope St. Pius X

Or those who make a BIG DEAL over those who complain about blog pimping.
