All you need to understand the modern world is one verse, and it's not even in Proverbs: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. (Ps 111:10)
Without the beginning of wisdom, there can be no developed wisdom. And without the fear of the Lord, there isn't even the beginning of wisdom.
For example, since there's no fear of the Lord in public schools, then there's no wisdom. This is why every Christian who cares about their children must not put them in public schools, or if they do, provide intensive Biblically-based education, preferably before they set one foot in the secular seedbed of iniquity.
