Certainly the European version is left, but ours would be an entirely different viewpoint.

Jesus Christ was a real, historical person and he was NOT a hippie version so many want to make him out to be. He was a threat to the state, and surrounded by rebels and rabble-rousers. So much for being a self-proclaimed historian.

European Christianity is to the “left” BECAUSE it is state-run. You declare your affiliation to the state, the state withholds “offerings”, etc. European Christianity is, at best, sterile and at worst, heretical, for this reason.

Democrats want to take all worldly things from you for themselves.

I don’t find a Christian connection at all in reality.
