Frankly, one can live a very full Catholic life while refusing to get all knotted up about the Curial sausage-making.
Considering all the vigorous ‘sausage’ manufacture ocurring in the 1960’s, leaving us with the sacrality starved, textually impoverished Pauline Mass, such a statement should be taken with as many grains of salt as might be needed to render flavor to the inedible mess...

The Mass is still the Mass, and the main action in the Mass is done by the sinless Christ, not ICEL or the USCCB or the Paul VI or even the sinful priest, who with the people confesses his guilt at the start of every Liturgy. No matter how "sacrality-stared, textually impoverised" you think it is.
"Inedible mess"? Who taught you to talk in such a filthy way? Somebody who doesn't know jack chick about what or Who it is who makes the Mass sacred.
