I can actually picture my VERY lib sister (early ‘60s) and her book club members trying on hijabs at their little get-togethers...commenting on the fine texture of their recent acquisitions, giggling at their daring, giddy at the thought of wearing a full burqa. She’s a 2x Obama voter...and, will not to this day admit to the destruction he’s caused. “Submission” to the religion of piece will be an easy transition for her.

I worked in Wheaton (the county seat) for well over a decade as a county board commissioner. The beautiful college campus was quiet and conservative, almost like out of a 1930's Andy Hardy movie.
Political correctness now reigns on campus as fostered by its administration...and one can expect radicalization will slowly but surely be attempted by the Left as it works unrelentessly to take over every institution in America....particularly academia.
This Hijab-wearing Wheaton College professor expressing her "solidarity with Muslims" is only a portent of things to come.

I have visited the Wheaton campus and know several people who are graduates. I always thought of Wheaton as a conservative Christian college. Bet this won’t go down too well with a lot of the alumni.
Do Muslim women have to wear a hijab and is it a form of subjugation? No.

Either (1) we worship the same God, and that God changed His mind from "love your neighbor" to "spread the faith through the sword", or (2) we worship God, and they worship the other side, a side that opposes the message of peace, hope, and love that Jesus gave us and spreads its message through hate and through carnal temptations (but that side does know Jesus since it spent 40 days tempting Him in the wilderness). It's a free country, so we are free to decide whether we believe Jesus or a perverted pedophile. Unlike this professor, I believe Jesus.

Interesting to read their Statement of Faith and Educational Purpose. Methinks they should re-think having that on their website at this point.
You won't find Hastert's plaque or any acknowledgement of him being a graduate left anywhere on Wheaton College's grounds after his sex payoff/banking fraud guilty plea.
I wonder, when she went to work Monday after the San Bernardino shootings, did she look closely at any moslems she works with to see if they might suddenly go off the deep end?

It’s a shame to hear this. They had, and maybe still have, a nice little evangelical museum. That was the first place I’d heard of Billy Sunday.
