Is the Bible as violent as the Koran? The answer is YES, if you talk to many Muslims and Liberals. But are they really? The following is a short discussion I had with a liberal about the subject. I hope to show you that they are not and that all non-Muslims should be uniting and working against Islam, not only because it is an institution that is a Human Rights nightmare, but because Islam really does have the submission of the whole world to Islam as it’s goal.
When you bring up the Koran or Hadith, many scream context context context,, claiming that if read in their proper context, they really don’t say what they say – so it’s all good, just relax.
Dr. Mark Durie (author of The Third Choice) confronts this misconception in his article,, A Dozen Bad Ideas for the 21st Century and says “8. The belief that putting something in context will always produce a more innocuous interpretation. This is not true. Attending properly to context can make a text even more offensive than it would otherwise have been. Conversely, if you take something out of context you may regard it more positively than you ought to. In reality, radical interpretations of the Qur’an, such as are used to support terrorism, almost always involve an appeal to a rich understanding of the context in which the Qur’an was revealed, including the life of Muhammad. On the other hand, many have taken peaceful verses of the Qur’an out of context, in order to prove that Islam is a peaceful religionâ€.

It kinda makes clear the difference between Christianity and Islam.
If you accept that Jesus is the Son of God, you have eternal life. If you do not, you die into oblivion of the grave in “Hades” ( see the Greek and the Hebrew word Sheole) . If you believe in the Mohammedan book, you go to HADES!!
It ain’t true right now, but no promises for tomorrow.
And remember Obama has lectured us to get off our high horse, because look at what happened during the Crusades. Apparently the liberal view is that we can’t say anything about Muslim terror today, because someone at sometime in history did something in the name of Christ which we would not approve of today.
I need to refresh my memory and history lessons about the crusades. I’ve heard that Muslims were actually aggressors back then, but the liberals would have us believe that Muslims were innocent victims of over zealous Christian soldiers marching as to war, with the cross of Jesus going on before.

Well, that means, like the Israelites, confronting your enemies as they threaten you and defeating them; otherwise, staying within the bounds of what God has given you, and being at peace.
It ain’t what was written by ignorant humans that is dangerous as much as it is actions by modern humans that know better than to harm others for ignorance written in the past.

The Leftists are primarily atheists. How would they know who is more violent and whether the actions were justified or not? On top of that they know nothing of the culture and the context for each situation to understand the context. They don’t read the Bible let alone the Quran so anything they spout will come from Google searches which are heavily influenced by the government
I don’t remember Jesus telling his followers to go out and kill all non-believers, do you?
You only have to read the Old Testament to know that Israel did not start as many wars as it is accused of starting. Sure, it often finished those wars by destroying the enemy, but it didn’t start that many of them.

Simple really. God is perfectly just. Eye for an eye, limb for limb, life for life. The judgment against the nations that surround Israel in the last days before the Messiah comes (or returns) are specific. The went overboard and so their punishment will be much worse.
People tend to over react. Satan is the worst. He will do as much torture and damage as man will agree to inflict. Hence, partial birth, selling preborn brains, murder of the innocent, sawing prophets in half.
The reason Islam calls for the death of those who don’t agree to convert is because they probably have their names written in the Book of Life and are children of faith in the One True God of Israel.
Study why God gave Israel the Promised Land and why they were told to kill everyone and every thing. What were those nations doing that they deserved invasion and annihilation? One thing was child sacrifice.
