Meaningless question. "Should be accepted by society" could very well be taken to mean "should not be subjected to unjust discrimination" as the Catholic Catechism puts it.

For example, NO, you don't fire your furnace repair guy because you think he's homosexual.

But YES, you do fire your parish DRE if she's gotten married to her girlfriend.
