There was a time when Church and State cooperated when governing powers welcomed the influence of Judeo-Christian values and sought to harmonize its laws with morality. But since the radical secularization of Western society, Christians have been forced into an adversarial, politically incorrect role, much like the early Church in times of persecution. Since a "culture of death" began to dominate the West, genuine Christians have become counter-cultural.
The leader of America's largest Protestant denomination, Dr. Albert Mohler, applies this Christian counter-culturalism to the latest politically correct trend in society: the approval of sodomy and sodomitical relationships in other words, gay "marriage."
Rev. Mohler writes that Christian love "does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right," including the good of others. Genuine love does not enable abuse or influence people toward harmful behaviors, including homosexuality.
..According to Dr. Mohler's latest book, We Cannot Be Silent, Christians should not attend a same-sex "wedding," because to attend the celebration implies condoning the behavior. The Southern Baptist Seminary president writes that the Christian's presence at a homosexual ceremony signals "moral approval" of something terribly harmful to both parties.
..Mohler wrote that Christians should not shun or isolate themselves from homosexuals. "We should make every effort to develop real and authentic friendships with our LGBT neighbors," he wrote. He conceded that Jesus ate with sinners, but he pointed out that the Lord never approved of sin. "His constant call was to repentance."

Agreed...
Going is an endorsement. So no. Don’t go.
Well how the heck am I supposed to do this: “Christians should not attend homosexual weddings”
Especially if I am the owner of a cake store / catering services / DJ shop / Hall rental / event planner / etc....
Now if I were a Muslim Trucker, I could simply not deliver jack squat anywhere that it may “offend” my “sensitive mooselimb” sensibilities.
Hooray, he got one right for a change.
Psalm 1
Blessed is the man who walk not in the counsel of the ungodly
Nor stand in the path of sinners
Nor sit in the seat of scoffers
But his delight is in the law of the Lord
And in His law he meditates day and night
He shall be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water
Which yields its fruit in its season
And its leaf does not wither....
I have declined several “wedding” invitations, including all gay “marriages” to which I have been invited. If I cannot endorse and celebrate the so-called nuptials, then I should not and will not attend.
No attending baby showers either for the same-sexers.
And no gifts or cards for the shower and wedding.
He is right.
This is one of the details that makes photographing a same sex ceremony 'difficult'. The standard family group shots aren't always there. So many of the bride photos also go out the window when it is two "mans" standing there.

We refuse to attend many “heterosexual” weedings to which we are invited as well. We don’t endorse contemporary Christ-less wedding ceremonies even of professing Christians. We won’t attend weddings where the bride is dressed immodestly either (advertising what should belong to the groom only). We just don’t enjoy weddings. We have found it much easier to truly help folks at funerals than at weddings.
He’s correct. I wouldn’t even think of attending such a mockery.
Obviously, he is just a H8r. And so is Jesus who dictated Revelation 22:15 to the Apostle John.
Yep.
I also give serious consideration to second weddings. I have a cousin who got married then proceeded to get knocked up by some other guy a few months later.
Quick divorce and marriage. When I got an invite to the wedding, I said the batteries in the clock we gave her for her first wedding still worked.
I must run is good circles. I know very few people who are divorced.
I’m happy to say I’ve never been invited to a sham marriage.
He’s absolutely right.
