Despite her shudder inducing looks, Greta van Sustren has her own show. Mara Liasson has been around for years looking like a normal woman. Not everyone on Fox is an ex beauty queen.

Well, you name TWO out of the thousands of women in the news business. Two IS better than zero, I grant you that.

Mara Liasson is not unattractive at all. If she were as plain as some of the men, she'd be out. I bet she had the perfect-teeth job. AND, I bet SOMEONE there makes DARN sure that her black hair hasn't even ONE tiny white or gray hair showing. :o)

Newsmen are allowed to have the gray hair. Newswomen?? Not a snowball's chance in H - E- double hockey sticks.

BTW, Greta DID have some cosmetic surgery. Gone is her hairlip. That's a good thing all around.

Maura is normal attractive looking. Regarding her hair, I always notice when Maura is due for a dye job. Those stubborn greys roots are stubborn. I feel her pain.

I think all news-people should be attractive in this day and age. Most of them are idiots who do nothing but read the news. I equate them with movie and TV stars who are almost always attractive. Since all they bring to the table are their looks, they ought to be attractive looks. Journalism is dead. But it should not be just women. Old unattractive men should also be replaced with younger, handsomer models.
