The call to prayer is a constant in the Church. It is initiated only by the Holy Spirit, and not by the plans and machinations of men, although we are given by the Holy Spirit also to encourage one another in prayer, because the Creator, in and through His only Son has taught us to pray and had promised to hear us. “Pray without ceasing.”
