Unfortunately you cannot impeach a pope. The job is for life and there are no impeachment or recall mechanisms I am aware of at the Vatican. As a Catholic I am disgusted and appalled at what is going on in the Vatican these days.

All we can do is hope and pray that the current pope will follow in his predecessor’s footsteps and take an early retirement.

The best you could hope for is someone in the mold of Donald Trump to replace him...But since there is no democracy in your religion, you are at the mercy of the same people who put Francis into office...Future of the Catholic religion looks bleak...

There is nothing in the Code of Canon Law about removing the Pope. But nothing can stop good Catholics from doing their best to expose his frauds and lies.

Maybe not officially but I'll always believe someone(s) got to Benedict. He chose to resign rather than end up like John Paul I. One way or another, he was not going to be permitted to remain Pope.
