What Bergoglio needs to mention is that it is Islam that is driving these people out of their countries - even the Muslims, and most of them are Muslims - and that his soul-mate Obama is the one who completely unleashed radical Islam in the ME.
As for his “take a refugee home with you,” it would be one thing if he had established something to provide homes for Christian refugees, who are genuine refugees and are fleeing for their lives and are being rejected by places such as the US. Christians are specifically excluded from Obama’s “refugee” resettlement program because they are not considered persecuted!!!
However, the Pope is simply grandstanding. He means “take home a (Muslim) refugee” and show the world how wonderful is Pope Francis.
The people who need help are the Christians, but frankly, the Pope doesn’t give a darn. It’s all about him and his image.
I had read on this website in the last few weeks that there is a Christian-based resettlement effort going on to resettle Christians from Iraq/Syria. It was a thread posted in the last week or two in the Religion Forum.
