Dear readers,I have been unable to know where to even start again in my ongoing spiritual commentary, after my short but restful vacation.
You see the “news” has hit me like a blast wind; the magnitude of evil which has suggested itself to me lately is so stunning I have been at a loss for words,(temporarily).
Take for example the horrifying revelations about Planned Parenthood , or the recent hate filled speech I heard by Louis Farrakhan, calling for the murder of whites, and ridiculing the teaching of Jesus, also the suicidal pact with Iran, our sworn enemy and who has openly vowed to destroy our friend Israel, These things have hit me like a sledge-hammer!
Where do we even begin?
Add to the above, the fact that there are many who still uphold Planned Parenthood, and have “blessed it” in the name of God. (This is evil in all of its blatant shamelessness!). Farrakhan has delivered several of these “Justice or else” speeches in Christian churches and to the applause of many pastors and congregants! A Muslim preaching murder and hate in a black church, and I heard people egg him on saying “preach it Rev!”.
I have sat in front of this computer screen stunned and overwhelmed, but have been praying. What is there to say?
But then the Word of the Lord came unto me, in the 94th Psalm…( I pray this encourages all of you who cry and sigh with me over the abominations…).
O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself. Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
Dear Christians, remember and hold to the truth about God, that he is Holy, Just and upright, and who has Holy wrath and will soon execute his vengeance on all that is evil, crooked, false and malignant. This is a moral universe, there will soon be an accounting of the proud and self-sufficient.
Lord, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph? How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
With our twenty-four hour news cycle and social media, we hear the wicked (the morally twisted) speak triumphantly, and it is extremely demoralizing to have to hear their celebrations over the deterioration of what was once a Judeo Christian culture and people, the desecration of sacred things such as marriage, childhood, sexuality, and the family. It seems that for now in America they have temporarily triumphed.
What a time to be a reprobate! To be homosexual or Muslim! All of the obstacles to your “brave new World” seems to have been removed, and you have now what you have always wanted. All of our institutions which once defended us seem to have betrayed us. Law, Education, medicine even, certainly entertainment, and organized religion, all prove to have become anti-Christ.
They break in pieces thy people, O Lord, and afflict thine heritage. They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
Christians are successfully sued and forced to pay large compensations for the “pain and suffering” of degenerate people who demanded that these Christians serve them against their consciences. The fatherless are not only murdered, they are butchered in the womb, and in some cases kept alive until buyers can be found for their body parts! Our leaders uphold this and force godly people to support this holocaust with taxes monies.
Yet they say, The Lord shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it. Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise? He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see? He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?
The Holy Spirit, through the Psalmist calls them “Brutish”, animal like, and this is what many of us have become through our godlessness. People have no concept of the coming accountability , the terrible judgment of the deeds and secrets of the hearts of all men!
Brutish is a good way to describe this generation, which entertains itself with increasingly gory violence, and which covers itself(male and female) with tattoos, and which is hyper-sexualized from early youth. The Apostle Jude described them as well in the new Testament;
But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves… These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
The way the Nations treat the Jews of Israel proves that our leaders have no concept of the “God of Jacob”. Yes Jacob, for Israel is in unbelief and has yet to truly embody the ideal name”Israel” he who prevails with God. They treat Israel as a nuisance state, a stumbling block, an irritation, which has no protector. But note he invokes the “God of Jacob”. The future belongs to Israel, for History climaxes in her restoration to God.
“They will look upon Me, whom they have pierced and they shall mourn for him as for an only son…”
The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
The so-called “Kings of the earth and their rulers…Experts)” think they are so clever…They would remake the world, they would construct a godless Utopia, but their efforts are as doomed as the efforts of those who would have built the tower of Babel.
Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law; That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
Right now, God has a humble, chastened people, for they have come out of the world, and have put their hope and trust in Jesus, the new Ark of refuge from the coming wrath of God. We are under a different discipline than this world , we are separate and have a different worldview.
We happen to live in a time when the wicked are allowed to come to a pinnacle of their “Success”, and to Imagine that Utopia is almost here. From a worldly perspective the Christians and Jews lose, we are weak, and demoralized. But the pit the wicked are digging,(for us) will be the pit that they themselves will soon fall into. God has promised rest for his own.
For the Lord will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance. But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
This order is temporary, “Weeping endures for the night…but joy in the morning”. The Lord will never forget His people, church and Israel. There are those born again, who have an inward affinity for Righteousness, because of the Holy Spirit. They don’t go along with this age, they can’t make the accommodation, they refuse to succumb to the evil! The Lord Knows them.
Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
We cry out for the return of the Messiah, the seed of the woman who has crushed the serpent’s head and will soon destroy the Devil and his agents by the brightness of his coming!
Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence. When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.
Evil wants to silence us, and to isolate us. It would demoralize and discourage you, so that you will succumb to it as others have already done. But keep your thoughts fixed upon the Word of the Lord…You will get through this storm.
Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law? They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
This is the big lie, the real damning compromise… the temptation to accommodate, to dialogue with evil to join with the Muslims or the homosexuals(the ‘good’ ones of course). Their can be no mixture, good and evil cannot co-exist, the ecumenical movements and interfaith movements are a snare. Yet this is the ‘spirit of the Age’, to find “common ground” and to compromise.
Just because they have “framed mischief by law” in our corrupt judiciary, it doesn’t mean we are bound by such laws. But how the lawless will scrupulously use “law” to discredit and even kill us. The “lawless” will seem to be the “lawful “ones.
But the Lord is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge. And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the Lord our God shall cut them off.
There, now I feel better. Nothing like getting a better perspective of the times, right?

It is hard to comprehend the flood of dissipation that is occurring in this country. Though these issues have been progressing for a long time, the dams of morality that restrained complete evil are seemingly being breached all at once. The one confidence we have is that the Lord sees all and will not abandon those who love him and are called according to his purposes. Even in judgment He remembers mercy...
