The first Bible translations of 2 Thess 2 translated 'apostasia' as 'departure'. That was what the translators gave as the meaning of the Greek word. In the context of the passages, that is an excellent rendering. It was not until the Rheims bible that the word was translated as 'revolt'.

BTW, the way you posted that drag and paste, it made it appear that I asserted the error starting at the colon and following. I must have left off a quotations mark or something, because my portion picks back up at 'The Fteast of Trumpets is the reference Paul makes in 1 Thess 4, not the seven trumpets of the wrath of God Great Tribulation.'
