I'm an old man, so this sentence threw me a curve I am unable to follow: "I went to John 3 and can't see anything that could be the rapture there." Sorry. Um, the Spiritual Church of Jesus Christ will not be here to be deceived. When God sends 'strong delusion' the hour of testing has set in and Reb 3 tells the faihtful church they will be kept from the hour of testing and thus the testing.

By knowledge in the Word. Satan will not be tempting to me any more than Obama. Knowledge in the Word foretells one what he/she needs to watch for and what the true intention of the antiChrist are. And by the way people are being beheaded by ISIS for Jesus at this moment so we are well into the seals/vials/trumps, so if there was a rapture, it should've already happened.

When you read the Secrets of The Feasts, you will see why the following reasoning is flawed from a Feasts of Israel as God's Times perspective: "At the Seventh Trump Jesus returns and we all will be harvested at once, good, bad, everyone, and the Millennium will begin, with us almost instantly in our spiritual bodies The Fteast of Trumpets is the reference Paul makes in 1 Thess 4, not the seven trumpets of the wrath of God Great Tribulation. Paul gives the key with 'wherefore comfort one another with these sayings.' The Thessalonians had been misled to believe the tribulation had already beguna nd their dead believers had missed it. Paul wrote that section in the letter to reassure them. It is tied to the clarification he gave in the second letter where he referred to the gathering together unto the Lord and the departure before the lawless one can be revealed by the Restrainer being taken out of the way. The explanation of the word 'apostasia' is in this thread, so I won't go over it again here.

Where do you get the "departure"?

HAve a good day and keep His word in your mind during the day ... sort of what's referred to as 'diligently seeking Him'.

Oh, I study an hour a day.

The first Bible translations of 2 Thess 2 translated 'apostasia' as 'departure'. That was what the translators gave as the meaning of the Greek word. In the context of the passages, that is an excellent rendering. It was not until the Rheims bible that the word was translated as 'revolt'.

BTW, the way you posted that drag and paste, it made it appear that I asserted the error starting at the colon and following. I must have left off a quotations mark or something, because my portion picks back up at 'The Fteast of Trumpets is the reference Paul makes in 1 Thess 4, not the seven trumpets of the wrath of God Great Tribulation.'
