I don't know what purpose snark serves here. The “mysteries” of the Rosary are

JOYFUL
Annunciation
Visitation
Nativity
Presentation
Finding Jesus in the Temple

LUMINOUS (added by JP2)
Baptism
Cana
Preaching and Teaching
Transfiguration
Last Supper

SORROWFUL
Agony in the garden
Scourging
Crowning with thorns
Carrying the Cross
Crucifixion and Death

GLORIOUS
Resurrection
Ascension
Pentecost
Assumption of B.V.M.
Coronation of B.V.M. I have found the luminous mysteries to be very rich.

Isn’t it odd that this so important and vital aspect of life for Catholics, this interaction with an assumed Mary, is not found in the Scriptures, when even the assumption of Elijah and Enoch is found there?

And I could never figger out how torture served the only true church back in the day; either.
